There was a fight between left and right wing students at Jawaharlal Nehru University at midnight. During the general body meeting of the School of Languages as part of the JNU Students Union elections, the Left did not allow the ABVP candidate to speak from the stage. At present, both the parties are blaming each other in the case.
A general body meeting is going on inside the JNU campus to elect members of the election committee. Suddenly there was an altercation over some issue. After this, Left and ABVP workers started fighting among themselves. Both sides have accused each other of assault.

Left organizations allege that ABVP workers have assaulted the students. At the same time, ABVP people also have the same allegation against the Left. In the videos that have gone viral regarding the matter, people are seen fighting with each other.
